Iowa trip

1st time at hunny n papa's table with out a baby seat! so proud of herself. she just looks so big and only 22 months.
marley infront of the stone remembering all who faught in WW2! her great-grandpa, paul jones' name is on it near the monkey's legs! this monkey became her new fav friend. amanda gave it to marley bc marley just fell inlove and wanted to take it everywhere.

Butch n bonnie had us over for supper one night and this pic is marley n her buddy kevin talking to each other on the phone!
marley thought that they were way to close to the huge piggy!

i remember playing on this same couch (uncle bruce's) when i was little! marley enjoyed throwing herself back and the pillows catching her!
i taught marley how to give "special kisses" while we were in IA.

marley had so much fun playing with liberty elaine aka lulu in IA. we could of packed nothing for marley and she would of been totally fine bc amanda and lulu had everything we needed. this pic is of marley n lulu eating supper and you can kinda see lulu's dog, myla, in the middle of the two. if they were at the table myla was right there to help them eat.
we spent so much time with mar's BFF Lulu! this pic was taken at the top of the stairs outside lulu's room. they are playing with lulu's slippers.
HB pulling lulu n marley on their way to the golf course to watch papa n lulu's daddy hit some balls. the course is like 2 blocks behind their house.
we had to be at the airport in tampa at 5am so we got up at 3 to leave by 330 and when we got to the airport they had an awesome play area right at our gate so marley enjoyed playing while we ate breakfast and waited!! marley only slept all day for about 20minutes in mommy's arms while walking from on gate to the other at the chicago airport! she was so good!!
we stayed at kirk n karrie's the night b4 we left for IA (Aug 13th). marley had so much fun sleeping over at jadyn's. they played some then took a bath together (of course) then played played n played some more!

another day with the kiddies

another babysitting day for us! Chloe spent the whole day here with marley! they were both standing in the baby crib when the bottom fell out! it was really funny bc they both just looked at me like "are we in trouble!"
no one was hurt and the baby elizabeth didnt wake up so no big deal.
marley has had many friends over to play but none as fun as chloe! or should i say none that let marley do whatever she wanted. usually marley will be all over the place doing her own thing and ocasionally play/check-in with whomever is here. today she and chloe never left each others side. if marley was getting into mommy's purse, so was chloe. if chloe was dumping weezys food into her water bowl, marley was right there with weezys towel.
marley pushed chloe around in the baby stroller for hours. marley would find different things around the house and give it to chloe. chloe only fell out of the stroller twice.
after i put chloe to bed with her binky, marley had to go find her play binky and pretend she was chloe. you can tell she doesnt use it bc she has the tennessee binky upside-down. and yes we are wearing matching shirts.

while the girls were napping, the boys came over to play. dane and walker come over on tuesdays while their mom is in staff meetings at church. this picture of dane and marley is from last tuesday.

I'm a Hunny Bunny wanna be!!

me & the girls!! I watched 4 of Marley's friends this afternoon! this is a picture of us walking home from church! I'm holding Chloe then from left to right is Ella, Mary, Marley and Madeline. it was so hot and we were looking right at the sun so i think Mary n Marley r trying to hide from the sun!
Marley decided she wanted to wear Ella's pink sparkley shoes!
Mary is so fun, she lets Marley push her all over the house and they must have ran into the couch a dozen times!

reese's & flower

we just got home from visiting with the "Haslup herd" (next door). marley loves going over and they absolutely love her. this is a pic of flower kissing on marley!
marley saw that i had the camera out and said "cheese!"
the Haslup's have a lil pin in the front yard and every time we walk over marley points to it and says "puppies." so either john or pattye have to go inside and get them for marley to play with!

fun weekend

we went to chruch on wed night for the goin' country party(hence the western shirt) and afterwards we participated in the youth's annual gutter gobble (really long gutter full of ice cream and fixin's) so fun but marley didn't want anything to do with the ice cream that everybody else was eating! she did enjoy a few handfuls of m&m's! yum!
we went to visit Ms. Lang (my friend in the nursing home). she loves our visits! She told marley that she was really cute and I said " say thank you, marley" and so marley said "thank you marley." ms. lang and i both laughed bc marley had never said that before!
this is marley and weezy patiently awaiting hunny bunny & papa's visit! marley really enjoyed having hb & papa here and weezy really enjoyed having hb here (sorry papa) ha.

marley started calling hb "honey" for the first time! it was so cute until we are at crispers for lunch and marley starts yelling "honey" bc we are talking and not paying any attention to marley and she wanted all of honey's attention!
marley was all about papa this visit. she is usually happy and excited to see papa but this visit all she wanted to do was play with papa! they played non stop! marley even watched golf with papa. marley is really good at spotting the ball.
not a good picture of me but is a really good pic of aunt jan and hb! aunt jan's first time to my house and we were excited to see her. she even got b-bo to play a few songs on the guitar. he played some songs that we sang in church a few weeks ago.
